15-20 Total Graves
This cemetery likely contains family members of the John F. and Fannie Wilcox Shepherd Family, along with other Cranberry Community people who may have lived nearby. John F. Shepherd was the son of Larkin and Alley Irwin Shepherd, and a great uncle to brothers Grover and Harrison Shepherd. Only the graves of John F. and Fannie Wilcox Shepherd have been indentified. According to Josephine Reeves, who lives nearby, this cemetery was once fenced and contained about 15-20 graves. The cemetery is no longer fenced and grown up with trees and briars. Efforts are currently underway to remove the briars and locate other graves. So far, seven other graves have been located as listed in the cemetery chart below. | |||
