Herewithin is contained the ancestral history of brothers Grover Cleveland Shepherd and Benjamin Harrison Shepherd, who were born and raised in Ashe County, North Carolina. Grover and Harrison are descended from the Shepherd line known as the Reddies River Shepherds, so this site is also a comprehensive collection of descendants of the Reddies River Shepherds.

Best Viewing

With today's wider monitors and larger computer screen resolutions, the photos which are included on the right-hand side of the pages may appear staggered in places where several pictures are displayed together. This causes the text to be out of alignment making it difficult to follow the family record. To correct this, you can do one of three things: 1. Set your screen resolution lower; 2. Increase the size of the text your browser displays; 3. The simpliest way is to shrink the size of your browser window, dragging it from right to left. Either of these methods should cause the photos to display vertically on the right as intended.

Happy Hunting!
